My Story
Though I grew up in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, I have been in the area since I moved to the Berkshires for my final year in high school and attended Pittsfield High School. I graduated from Marist College, with degrees in Business Administration and French. I studied abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France my senior year of college. I graduated Albany Law School of Union University, with concentrations in Estate Planning and Taxation. I received the 2004 Albany Law School Award for preserving equal access to justice through my work at the Albany Law's Low Income Taxpayer clinic. I was admitted to practice in 2004 in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and 2005 in New York. I am married and have 3 wonderful children.
I began practice in 2005 at the former Martin & Oliveira, LLP, where I primarily practiced in the areas of Estate Administration, Estate Planning, Guardianships, and Commercial and Residential Real Estate. I began my own practice in July, 2010. I have practiced in Juvenile Law since 2010, representing children and parents in Care and Protection proceedings in the Juvenile Court.
I served on the Board of Directors for the Berkshire Community Action Council, and have been active with the Berkshire Business and Professional Women, having served as their Secretary and Treasurer. I have been a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, New York Bar Association and the Berkshire Bar Association.
